Established in 1990, the Elite 20 is believed to be the first interbrokerage networking real estate group in the nation.

Members are affiliated with six major brokerages and have demonstrated synergy, energy and a willingness to help fellow agents. A monthly tour of homes, with written comments submitted individually and anonymously, has resulted in an extraordinary number of sales. After the tour, it is not uncommon for a member to call a client, show a tour property, and execute an offer.

Conventional wisdom is that 80% of sales are made by 5% of agents. Sales volume within the Elite 20 gives credence to this belief.

Another elite 20 resource is a private telephone network. A call to founding member Joy Nees is promptly forwarded to the entire membership. Whatever the issue, invariably several members respond with advice or assistance.
